
And while it may just be nostalgia talking, I believe Origins gave us the most depth out of everything in the series. If a Dragon Age Netflix series ever happened, I’d want it to be based on Originsĭragon Age: Origins also has the advantage of being the first title to gaze into this exciting world of magic and darkness. And while all of these elements are also present in the newer games, they just didn’t feel as rich. It had intrigue, romance, epic battles, and the kind of deep character building I crave. In my humble opinion, Dragon Age: Origins was the best Dragon Age game to date. And while you’re at it, look for more games like Dragon Age to play in your free time.

But if you haven’t already played them all, you really should see for yourself.

I’ve played all of these games all the way through, and there are clear pros and cons to each game. While we wait patiently for Dragon Age 4 to arrive, let’s take a moment to look back and rank the games from best to “still good, but not as good.”
